New Training Providers Required for The National Skills Academy For Food And Drink

10 January 2008: The National Skills Academy for Food and Drink are launching a call for Expressions of Interest from providers who want to either be part of establishing new networks of excellence or to join existing networks to provide greater geographical coverage.

This is an exciting opportunity for providers who have experience of delivering to employers in these key sectors to join the Skills Academy and become part of a national, strong, customer focussed and quality assured network.

The 6 new sector networks include Bakery, Brewing, Sweet Confectionery, Soft Drinks, Automation and Sustainability. Both Network Champions (who lead for the network) and Network Members are sought.

The 4 expanding networks are Meat and Poultry, Dairy, Seafood and Lean Manufacturing where Network Members are sought to join the existing Network Champions.
