Academy to boost specialist skills
The Minister for Skills, Phil Hope MP, has announced the approval of the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink Manufacturing, which will open next month. The Skills Academy is forecast to provide vocational education and training for at least 28,000 employees during its first four years, with the intention of addressing the needs of the industry and those who work in it. The National Skills Academy for Food & Drink Manufacturing aims to have up to 35 Skills Academy Centres within three years.
